How Do I Set Up Klaviyo?
Setting up your Klaviyo account is super easy, even for beginners.
Here are the step-by-step instructions to set up your account & send out your first email:
1. Create an account
Go to the Klaviyo website and sign up for an account if you haven't done so already. You'll be asked to fill in information about your business such as your company name, website & address.
2. Integrate your ecommerce platform
If you're using Shopify as your ecommerce platform, integration only takes a few clicks.
First, go to "Integrations" in your Klaviyo account & search for "Shopify"
Next, add in your Shopify store URL. Make sure to use the format mystore.myshopify.com
Then, select the following boxes to sync your Klaviyo & Shopify data, and select the lists you want your subscribers to be added to.
Then, click "Connect to Shopify" and you'll be directed to login to your Shopify store to add the Klaviyo app. Click "Install App".
Next, enable Onsite Tracking which will allow to track when potential customers view products on your site.
Lastly, integrate your Add To Cart metric by following the instructions here. This will allow you to track when potential customers add products to their cart.
